Stand Against Hate
This site is NOT about International Politics
This site is NOT for protesting against individual countries.
EVERY country does good things and EVERY country does bad things.
One can always find something bad to say about what a specific country did in a specific circumstance.
However it is usually prejudice that causes one to call out one country as opposed to another. Also, there is usually background information that is ignored just to make that one country that is the target of the prejudice look bad.
You can find bad things that China did.
You can find bad things that Saudi Arabia did.
You can find bad things that Israel did.
You can find bad things that Russia did.
You can find bad things that America did.
You can find bad things that France did.
etc. etc. etc.
You can make all sorts of excuses for why you are concentrating on one country and not others, but it generally boils down to prejudice.
Anti-Asian prejudice …. Anti Muslim prejudice … Anti Jewish prejudice, etc.
Yes, countries do bad things and hopefully ending hatred will help make countries do better.
But let’s try to focus on protesting acts of prejudice.
Please note: We are not saying to avoid protesting when a country does something you feel is wrong. Simply that this site is not the place for it.
